Camp Ape created an editorial piece for Evangel University’s alumni magazine that felt less like a standard publication and more like something people would want to keep. Centered on a student-focused issue, the project brought together art direction, custom illustration, editorial layout, icons, and a bold modern cover to give the magazine more depth, personality, and character. The result was a refined, memorable issue that helped elevate the magazine, capture readers’ attention, and stand out from typical template-driven college design. The cover artwork was so well received that it was later turned into a T-shirt and sold across campus, giving the piece a life beyond the printed publication.
